“Questa mattina abbiamo finalizzato il nostro lavoro seguendo la direzione individuata ieri pomeriggio. Dopo aver ottenuto l’accesso diretto alla Q2, sono riuscito a completare un altro bel giro in qualifica: siamo tutti molto vicini, perciò sono soddisfatto della terza fila. Domani non sarà una gara semplice: sarà difficile scegliere le gomme giuste e gestirle per tutta la durata del Gran Premio, viste soprattutto le condizioni della pista e le basse temperature alle quali non siamo abituati su questo tracciato. Resto comunque fiducioso e ringrazio il team per il lavoro svolto”.

After getting direct access to Q2, I managed to complete another good lap in qualifying: we are all very close, so I am satisfied with the third row. It won’t be an easy race tomorrow: it will be difficult to make the right tyre choice and manage them for all the duration of the Grand Prix, especially given the track conditions and the low temperatures to which we are not used. However, I remain confident, and I want to thank the team for all the work they have done.”

Tras lograr el acceso directo al Q2, he sido capaz de completar una buena vuelta en el clasificatorio: estamos todos muy cerca pero estoy satisfecho con la tercera fila. Mañana no será una carrera fácil: será complicado escoger el neumático correcto y gestionarlo durante todo el Gran Premio, sobre todo viendo las condiciones de la pista y las bajas temperaturas que hay a las que no estamos acostumbrados en este trazado. Estoy confiado y quiero dar las gracias al equipo por el trabajo hecho”.
