“E’ sempre bello guidare qui a Phillip Island: è una delle mie piste preferite e oggi siamo stati veloci fin dall’inizio. Sistemare bene il set up della moto non è mai facile su questo circuito, a causa dei curvoni ad alta velocità e delle varie possibilità di interpretare la pista, però sono molto fiducioso per domani. Oggi siamo stati veloci sia sul bagnato che sull’asciutto, e quindi sono molto ottimista per il prosieguo del weekend e soddisfatto di questa prima giornata”.

“It’s always great to ride here at Phillip Island: it’s one of my favourite tracks and today we were quick right from the start. Establishing the right set-up of the bike is never easy on this circuit, because of the long high-speed corners and the different ways of interpreting the track, but I’m feeling confident for tomorrow. Today we were quick both in the wet and the dry, and so I’m very optimistic about the rest of the weekend and satisfied with this first day”.

Poner a punto la moto no es nada fácil en este circuito porque hay curvas a gran velocidad y hay muchas maneras de interpretar la pista, pero estoy confiado para mañana. Hoy hemos sido rápidos tanto en mojado como en seco, así que soy muy optimista para lo que queda de fin de semana y satisfecho con la primera jornada”.
