“È stata una gara complicata: purtroppo alla prima curva sono rimasto imbottigliato e poi dopo un paio di giri sono stato coinvolto nell’incidente di Crutchlow. Ho perso tantissime posizioni e ho dovuto rimontare, spingendo tanto sulle gomme e dopo metà gara non ne avevo più per risalire. Peccato perché è stata una occasione persa, soprattutto quando ieri ho fatto un errore in qualifica e questo ha compromesso tutto il mio weekend. Mi dispiace molto per la squadra che ha lavorato impegnandosi al massimo: adesso dobbiamo fare un reset dopo queste due gare e guardare avanti in modo positivo a Silverstone.”

“It was a complicated race: unfortunately, at the first turn I got bottled in and then after a couple of laps I was involved in Crutchlow’s crash. I lost a lot of positions and had to get back up the field, pushing hard on the tyres and after half the race I didn’t have anything left to offer. Pity because this weekend was a missed opportunity, especially yesterday when I made a mistake in qualifying and this conditioned everything. I’m sorry for the team, who worked as hard as they could: now we have to press the reset button after these two races and look ahead positively to Silverstone.”

“Ha sido una carrera complicada: desgraciadamente en la primera curva me he quedado embotellado y después de un par de vueltas me he visto involucrado en el incidente de Crutchlow. He perdido muchas posiciones y he tenido que remontar, exigiendo mucho a los neumáticos y a mitad de carrera no tenía nada más. Ha sido una lástima porque es una ocasión perdida, sobre todo cuando ayer hice el error en el clasificatorio y esto ha condicionado todo el fin de semana. Me sabe muy mal por el equipo que ha trabajado mucho: ahora tenemos que hacer un reset de estas dos carreras y llegar a Silverstone de una manera positiva”.
